Floyd Mayweather decisively outboxed John Gotti III in their exhibition rematch.

The rematch settles this unexpected rivalry once and for all.

The rematch between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and John Gotti III lacked the excessive trash talk and brawls that characterized their previous encounter last year.

Instead, Mayweather showcased his boxing mastery over eight two-minute rounds, delivering a clinic at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, broadcast live on DAZN. The 47-year-old boxing icon demonstrated his skills, from establishing the jab to executing combinations, targeting the body, and evading Gotti III’s attempts, all while flashing smiles.

"We had to put on a show for the people. I want to thank Gotti for being a man of his word," Mayweather said on DAZN, as the two embraced, seemingly resolving any lingering animosity.

Gotti III remarked, "He still got it."

Mayweather’s performance confirmed his continued expertise, proving he's still a master of his craft in this 16-minute exhibition rematch.

The only moment of controversy came in the second round when the referee warned Mayweather about punching behind the head. Mayweather responded by urging the referee to "move!" and was soon satisfied as a new referee took over.
